Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) enables depiction of the superior cerebellar peduncle decussation (the Wernekinck commissure), and on the colour-coded fractional anisotropy map, this is seen as a red dot in the ventral midbrain (conventionally, red denotes transversely-orientated fibres)."
