"Ischaemia or infarction to structures supplied by these arteries (e.g. brainstem, cerebellum, occipital lobes) may result in a diverse range of neurological signs and symptoms. Additionally, clinical features of the underlying aetiology may also be present (e.g. neck pain from dissection)."
