"Unilateral hypertransradiancy is a term for the chest radiograph appearance of decreased attenuation affecting one hemithorax. Hypertranslucency is a term in common usuage which literally means ‘lets more light through’, but is inaccurate and refers to the darker part of the image which lets less light through!"
